AGE GROUPS

 

The WYSL configurations for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 are as follows:

​

  • 9&U: Players Born Aug 1st 2017-July 31st, 2018

  • 10&U: Players Born Aug 1st, 2016- July 31st, 2017

  • 11&U: Players Born Aug 1st, 2015-July 31st, 2016

  • 12&U: Players Born Aug 1st, 2014-July 31st, 2015

  • 13&U: Players Born Aug 1st, 2013-July 31st, 2014

  • 14&U: Players Born Aug 1st, 2012-July 31st, 2013

 

Age Group Policies: Playing Up

 

For our stratified age groups, U9 and older, stronger players, with guidance from our coaching provider, may tryout for an older age group.  Players, whose skill level places them on the top team, will be allowed to play up.  Players, whose skill level is not commensurate with the top team, will be placed on a team based on their age.  In order to play up, players must get approval from the Directors of Coaching who will then coordinate with the tryout coordinators and club registrar.  See more detail under tryouts and registration.
